Name: Ursa Major
Type: Scythe
Range: Short to Mid-range
Description: Ursa Major's Shaft reaches about 180 CM, and is made of stained black iron, solid all the way through. Unlike a traditional scythe, Ursa Major has three different blades. At the end of the Shaft, a metal holding chamber made of stained white steel is mounted on, with the three blades set into it. The main blade is the closest to a normal scythe blade, holding the more traditional light curve to it, reaching out about 100 Cm, giving it a good range. Where the inside edge of a traditional scythe is kept sharp, the inner and outer edge of the main blade are kept sharp. This is the "Primary" blade. The "Secondary" Blade is mounted directly across from the primary blade on the chamber, having a much heavier curve, curving down about halfway down the shaft of the weapon. This blade is meant for defending the hands, and to be used as a parrying tool. This effectively splits the weapon into sides. On each side of the chamber, a waning crescent moon emblem is etched into the metal. The Primary Blade and Secondary blades are mounted at the top of the chamber, while the third "Tertiary" blade, is much smaller, and mounted directly under the primary blade, at the bottom of the chamber. It is designed as a very thin spike, almost like a sword's tip. It's purpose is to stab enemies that have been put on the inside edge of the blade, as sort of a "Coup de Grace" attack.
The history of this weapons goes so far back as to be untraceable, but according to family stories, they were cult weapons, used by Gibbous family ancestors in rituals to hail to the moon. They were made for the cult's leaders, two leaders, skilled in combat and what they called "Lunar Influence," which is likely a name for Aura. The younger brother used his weapon to carve a bloody path for the cult, and so the older used Ursa Major to stop him. In the end, the two were evenly matched, and it is said that in a last ditch effort, the elder brother used a lunar ritual to seal their aura's in the weapons. For this reason, the weapons are treated as though sentient.
(For the record, both of the brothers from the history used their aura in combat for weapon-duplication and manipulation :3)
Abilities: For reasons unknown after years of backtracking and research, The Ursa Sister weapons are able to channel their wielder's aura onto their blades, making them even more sharp, and giving them potential for fairly effective slashes and projectile attacks.
