The Beginning of Your Journey!

Octavia gives a nod of confirmation. "And it's no surprise you've made it here as well." She says, walking over to him. Even her gait seemed to flow with an air of elegance and beauty, with her long strides carrying her quickly to her friend. She extends her arm and pulls Wayne into a hug befitting of two friends who had not seen each other in a very long time. "I'm glad to see you're doing well, Wayne." She says with a smile.

"Rumors, eh? What's the word on the street?" Rudil asks, leaning an arm against Li as she awaited an answer. Although, due to the height difference, she was leaning up a little further than what must have been comfortable for her.

"That IS what they say...." she says defensively.

Li sighs in defeated acknowledgment, carefully shrugging Rudil's arm off as he does so. "Nothing beyond a few of our new students being questionable?" he asks, puzzlement clear. "Odd. Rumors are normally much more detailed." 'I should know,' he doesn't say.

Maria shrugs, pointing to the window.
"Look for yourself if you want detail..." she snaps, her temper flaring.

Li shies away as Maria snaps, muttering, "It was just a question, Maria..." A moment later, he looks over the ball room, and notes that their assigned task has been completed. At this, Li walks off to find Professor Vainikainen. "Anything else, Ma'am?" he asks when he finds her.

Maria sighs and walks for the door, wanting to be alone.

Rudil sighs as Maria walks off, figuring it's best if she allows her friend to cool off on her own. She looks over as Li talks to Primula. "Mm, yes. Luggage will be arriving throughout the hour. You two can start on arranging the luggage into a neat area. Doesn't have to be too tidy, but at least somewhat alphabetical." The professor replies.

Wayne nods, returning the hug, albeit rather loosely.
"I'm glad you are as well...I had no doubts you'd make it wherever you wanted." he says with a sheepish grin.

"Isn't the Schnee Heiress coming in this year, Ma'am?" Li asks, flagging at the prospect of handling what would undoubtedly be exorbitant amounts of luggage.

"Charmer." Octavia says with a soft chuckle. "What say we get out of here and get ready for Ozpin's announcement, eh?" She asks, before checking her watch. "Oh. Actually, we've got some time til then." She adds.

"Weiss Schnee? Yes, she's attending this year as well. Why do you ask?" Primula asks, turning to face Li.

Wayne nods.
"I wanted to get a good look from the cliffs. Father says they've had students performing a trial second day in there for years..." he says, pushing his hands into his jacket pockets.

"Because rich people bring lots of toys!"
A joyous, almost childish voice calls out as a white-cloaked, short figure drops from the rafters, the white hair and eyes on a child, unmistakable.
"G'day Prim. Students..."

"Ah, yes. Initiation. Well then! Let's get going, shall we?" She says, waiting for Wayne to follow.

Primula lets loose a slight smile. "Hello, Shiro. How are you today?" She asks, looking down at him.

Without so much as bothering to stop Axis returned the handshake in an instant. Still walking towards the school for the sake of moving along. Though she did make some kind of eye contact with Vera for brief moment. Before turning back and noticing Talea ahead of them both. Judging from the suddenly huge smile on the girl's face. She had found something worth her interests. Apparently the entrance held some kind of entertainment value. Whatever that was, Axis was unsure. Until they caught up with her and the word 'climb' hit the ears. A smirk lined itself upon the young faunus lips at the idea. "Climbing you say?" Axis inquired as she joined Talea at the doors. "Sounds interesting. Why not give it a try with me?" Flat out issuing a challenge to the point of being blunt. She looked over towards the girl. Hoping for an agreement. She seemed hyper enough. Why not put the energy to good use.

"Good morning, Professor Renge," Li greets, somewhat shocked by the man's sudden entrance. After a moment he looks back to Rimu, saying, "Essentially, what he said, Ma'am," while he slightly nods in Shiro's direction.

Tanner glanced over at Leon. "Guess I better make nice with someone . . ." He muttered before walking up to the strange person. "Hey, weren't you the kid sleeping on the ship?" He asked, a smug grin on his face.

Leon essentially ignored the boy, continuing his stroll.

Rudil let's out a chuckle as Shiro lands, and Primula lets out a small, soft smile as well. "I see. I do hope you know to not play with toys that are not yours, without permission. Isn't that right?" Rimu gives a soft chuckle at her choice of words, feeling as if what she said was rather childish.

"Mon dieu... Vera sighs, shoving her hands in her pockets and watching the two girls.

Shiro scowls and crosses his arms, looking up at the woman.
"I'm a lot older than you yah know..." he points out.

Wayne sits on the edge of the Beacon cliffs with a pair of Binoculars, scouting out the area below.
"A good structure of ruins."

Primula smiles at Shiro. "Of course. My mistake." She says, as the room temperature takes a sudden nosedive a good few degrees. Rudil is first to notice, and begins rubbing her arms. "Whoa! Someone must have broken the air conditioner!" She says with a chuckle.

"Anything dangerous in there? Well. More dangerous than a common Ursa or Beowolf?" She asks, still standing with her arms behind her back.

Shiro seemed confused, his cat ears twitching curiously as he tilts his head.
"Huh?"

"Not from what i c.......Uh...you may wanna take a look..." he says, holding the binoculars out to her, and pointed to one of the structures far off in the distance.

Li notes the drop in temperature as well, but shrugs it off, still accustomed to colder climes from home. He steps out of the ball room, making his way to a side exit of Beacon to start collecting luggage and get it organized.

"Nothing, Shiro." Primula says with another soft smile. She then looks to Rudil. "Rudil, Li should be back in soon with some of the luggage. As he does, arrange it, please?" She asks. Rudil chuckles and throws her hand up in a salute. "Aye aye, ma'am!" She chuckles, taking off. Primula sighs, looking back at Shiro. "I trust you had a pleasant summer?" She asks.

"What am I supposed to be looking at?" Octavia asks, taking the binoculars and pointing them towards the general area Wayne was pointing at.

Through the lenses, Octavia could spot a large black bird perched on the ruins.

Shiro crossed his arms, pouting.
"No. You know I can't leave the Academy. Those stupid townies would run me out..." he says bitterly, his ears flattening.

After helping straighten out a cart filled solely with luggage containers emblazoned with the SDC logo (he knew there would be a lot of luggage coming with the Schnee Heiress) and sending it along with another student helping out, Li starts filling another cart with baggage from other students, noting that most only brought three bags at the most, with a few exceptions that brought more. After filling the cart, he pushes it back toward the same place he exited the academy, hoping to find the other cart there as well.

Emily yawned as she walked to her dorm room. She didn't need to go inside, she wasn't tired or anything. She walked down the halls, noticing the same things that were there last year. Emily couldn't but smile at the familiarity in Beacon.

"Well, I suppose you're somewhat right, in those regards. But, Shiro, you should know that not all humans are very discriminatory to the Faunas." She reminds him, watching as Rudil begins helping Li unload the large cart filled with miss Schnee's luggage.

[justify]...That is extremely very not good." Octavia mutters, lowering the binoculars. "...Do you think we should notify someone?" She then asks, handing the binoculars back to Wayne.

He shakes his head.
"Yes...but the ones who aren't are discriminatory to witch magic."
He stamps his foot childishly, returning to pouting.
"It's not EVEN witch magic. It's not fair!"

"Extremely Very is improper grammar..." Wayne kids, and puts the binoculars to his eyes.
"It may be there on purpose...this IS Beacon after all."

Li was less than happy with the amount of luggage the Schnee Heiress had decided to bring with her, but voiced nothing of the matter. It would ultimately be her responsibility to properly store everything, not his.

"The commonfolk merely just don't understand." Professor Vainikainen says with a soft chuckle.

Octavia ignores Wayne's comment of her purposefully-structured sentence, choosing to only sigh. "That is true...At least no, we have the upper hand and know what we're dealing with." She then says.
