Personality: Novus has a sort of cool, calm, collected demeanor, and tends to keep to himself, but has no issues in speaking to or generally interacting with others. He rarely shows any true emotion, and speaks in an uncaring monotone, or a scolding harsh tone. He has been known to have moments of Manic or Paranoia, but has never turned these outbursts upon others positively or negatively. He has acquired a not-very-well earned reputation as a Casanova, as many girls tend to approach him simply because he fills the tropes of bad-boy and twin, but in all honesty, he has a heart of stone when it comes to Romance.

Bio: Novus was born as the younger of a set of twin boys, to parents that were well respected in the field of hunting grim. However, before Wayne or his brother had even developed a memory, their mother died, and their father became too grief stricken to talk about why, and remains silent to this day. Growing up, Novus was obviously his father's favorite, as he grew up with the early dream of becoming a great Hunter like his father. He studied hard in combat, "training" by getting in fights with the neighborhood boys, or swinging around sticks in the backyard. His father did his part to help by training him on weekends and even buying him practice swords and dummies to beat up on.
While in school, he performed at an average level academically, he was top notch in all athletics, and was on every sports team. He quickly became a very popular student, despite his inward nature. His abilities were so great that he was a top candidate for the many academies that trained young hunters and huntresses. He ultimately settled on Signal, being it was the closest to their current hometown, and that it was quite close to Beacon, his later goal for education.
Between school, Novus had a feud erupt between him and his brother, who began to be somewhat of a rival to Novus. But both brothers, despite their fighting, ended up attending Signal. This is when Novus but his heart into combating his brother's abilities. For achieving a slot in Signal, both brothers were gifted the treasured family weapons, Novus receiving the weaker weapon, the Ursa Minor greatsword. He was outraged. Why did he receive the weaker weapon, when he was obviously the strongest fighter? Jealousy boiled over for his brother's fortune, and the two began their fight with a new found vigor.
While at Signal, his excellence in combat was really brought to light in the many combat classes and training sessions. He was at the top of his class when it came to his fighting skills, and the top of everyone's charts when they thought of the ideal hunter. Novus grew rather fit, he kept his cool in situations, and knew exactly what to do in a confrontation, never taking a misstep. His aptitude for the hunter's ways carried him through Signal on silver wings, and landed him a spot in Beacon academy at his request and on recommendations from every teacher asked.

Physical Appearance: Novus, being an identical twin to his brother Wayne, shares his brother's appearance almost down to a T except for changeable details. Due to more time in the sun, Novus' skin is a slightly tanner tint, though it retains a lighter complexion. He has a thin pink car on his lower right eyelid extending down to the tip of his nose. He has his hair cut to be shorter in the back and fade into a longer style as it goes to the top and finally ending at the longest bangs. His bangs are pushed to frame his face on each side, their ends pulled into sharp tips that reach his shoulders. On the rights side, they are pulled a bit loosely, hanging down over his eyebrow, but his left are pushed over harshly. He share's his brothers right-side-cowlick, but to a greater extent. On the sides, his hair is trimmed shorter, but fades up longer to the top again. He is much more muscular than Wayne as well, and to finalize the discerning details, he allows a very thin beard to come from his sideburns down on the underside of his chin, giving him a rougher, more masculine look.

Clothing/Armor: Novus' typical outfit consists of a base layer of a long-sleeved white shirt with no details on it at all, and dark grey jeans, usually with a few rips in it at the knees, or being frayed at the cuffs. His most identifiable item clothing is the half-of-a-great-coat he wears. The clothing item is a black great coat, with only the left side fully made. The sleeve on the left side is made, as well is the left front and full back of the jacket, but in absence of the right side of the coat, two straps hold the coat in place, one that goes over the right shoulder and one that wraps around the stomach. Finally, Novus wears black combat boots that are frayed and dusted from several years of use.

Semblance: What power does your character specifically have? (Such as Ruby's speed, Pyrrha's Polarity, Blake's after-image, etc. Only choose one) Novus has no stand-out features, besides his, very natural prominence in combat. His aura is used for the typical healing and shielding purposes, but as of yet, he has found no use for it. It is worth noting that for whatever reason, Wayne and Novus can only use their Aura's when the moon is in the sky.

Miscellaneous Info: Novus is near sighted, and wears contact lenses. For a Hobby, Novus has grown skilled in playing a six string guitar. Both of the Gibbous twins speak in the equivalent of a light scottish accent.
