Personality: Silent but has a loyal and big heart. He does not go out of his own way to talk to others, but he will go out of his way to protect them. Since he feels responsible for his brother's death, he feels that has no right to interact much with others, keeping much to himself. However, even though he does appear to want to be own his own, it's really just a front, he really does want to make friends and laugh with others. However, with the guilt he feels for his brother, he finds himself staying away from others. He seems to have built up walls around himself and will take some time and lots of pushing to get him to get out of his shell. When someone has pushed past his walls however, he proves to be a very nice guy who will talk with most anybody.
Bio: Ashland and his twin brother, Barris were born to a poor family with their father, aside from their uncle, who was rich but greedy. Their uncle never shared his wealth with their father's family unless he had something to gain from them. Eventually, the boys reached the age where they were able to go into town and there, they somehow gain some coin through showing some tricks they had learned and entertaining some of the townsfolk. Once they had returned with it, their father was very happy and proud of them. However, that night while the boys were asleep, their uncle had somehow convinced their father that they had gotten the coin through thievery. Though their father felt like he might be making a mistake, he still followed his brother's word and took the two boys to the woods and abandoned them there. Thankfully, the boys had happened upon a home that belonged to a huntsman.
The man felt sorry for the boys and took them in, teaching them many things about hunting and of huntsmen and huntresses. As the boys grew, they each become their own man of their own rights. One brother wanted to become a huntsman and help protect the people while the other wanted to stay with the man who they had come to think of as a father. Ashland was the one who had wanted to stay and he watched little brother leave to become a huntsman. However, a few years later, they heard that Barris was killed and Ashland felt guilty for having stayed where it was safe. He took it upon himself to become a huntsman for his brother's sake and left to go to a school to learn what he could. He had learned much from the huntsman that had taken care of him and didn't need much training. Upon leaving to become a huntsman, his father gave him his brother's weapons, which was a pair of dust powered assault pistols. Ashland took them with pride and left to become his brother's dream.
During the four years he was fighting as a huntsman, he has gotten into a serious fight that had caused one of his pistols to be destroyed beyond repair and he had no idea how his brother had commissioned such guns. So to replace his missing weapon, he made himself a dust powered gauntlet. After he had used it for a few months, he finally got a job as a guard and protector of students and he gladly accepted it. He would prove to himself and his brother that he could protect others like his brother had wanted to do.
Physical Appearance: Shoulder length reddish brown hair that at times appear red and that he keeps tied back in a high ponytail with a black tie, his bangs frame his face with a little bit of fringe. Brown eyes with a trace of red around his iris. His skin is tanned a nice gentle brown and his is toned from all the work he did with his father (the huntsman) and stands 6 feet tall. He has a small knife scar on his left hip, this had been caused when his brother had accidentally cut him when they had been hunting in the woods. Barris had tripped on a log and when Ashland went to catch him, he got a good slash in the side from the knife Barris had been holding.
Clothing/Armor: He wears a sleeveless vest that is dark red in color with a black trim with is connected to a cloth that hangs in the back, reaching his ankles and is slit down the middle. A holster is slung over his shoulder and across his chest which holds the pistol when not in use. Black pants that are tucked into dark brown boots. He wears a black fingerless glove on his left hand that reaches his wrist while his right hand his covered with a red glove that goes all the way up to just below his shoulder. His armored gauntlet is on his right arm and he uses his gun with his left. A small pack is strapped to his left leg that contains different types of magazines with dust properties. A chained necklace with a pendent that has his brother's name carved into the back of it, a byzantium colored jewel embedded into it is slung around his neck. His symbol is tattooed on his left shoulder.
Semblance: His semblance is his ability to generate aura like bursts that allow him a brief moment of seeing what can happen next before it does happen, as a side affect from his semblance, his brown eyes change to an almost whitish red glow. He can witness events that can span over 1 to 2 minutes in the matter of 2 to 5 seconds. He however cannot use this ability often, for it drains his aura considerably. He is very accurate with his pistol but if the target is beyond 75 meters, it gets a little harder to get the shot.

Emblem: Two daggers that are crossed with a circle around them as well as another one that is in the middle. One of the daggers is a shade of red while the other is a shade of purple, the lines of the circles are black.
Miscellaneous Info: He feels guilt for being somewhere safe while his brother risked his life for others, he now wants to pay for his neglect to his brother by doing the same things his brother did. He fails a little with romance and has trouble interacting with the opposite sex.
