Name: Saddle B. Cervidae

Gender: Male (Buck Faunus)

Age: 17

Personality: Though Saddle is easily confused, embarrassed, beguiled, or tricked, he tends to take most things in stride. His defining traits are his passion to make a better world, and his forgiving, magnanimous nature.

He is uncomfortable in crowds, but when he's around loved ones and friends, he is quite rhapsodic, happy, and joking. He has a healthy respect for law and authority, but will break those social constructs if it results in greater good. He is altruistic and kind, and wise beyond his years.

He has a strict moral code, and believes without a shadow of a doubt that those in power must maintain honor unconditionally. He is driven to follow the example of his parents, and trains constantly, preforming punishing physical and mental exercises on most days.

He has a strong sense of responsibility, and will go out of his way to be useful.

He has a deep fear of being rejected for being a Half-Faunus. The fact that some humans cannot accept him for being clearly a Faunus, and some Faunus cannot accept his nature as half human haunts him. This fear drives him to try to be the best of himself, and to show both Humans and Faunus that nobody's dignity is worth more or less, and that freedom and understanding are most important.

He refuses to abandon or forget anyone. Even Cardin Winchester.

Bio: Saddle was born to Steele Cervidae, his Faunus father, and Lili Cervidae, his mother. He grew up in a small town on the edge of the Menagerie, a place were Faunus were forced to live. Steele and Lili were superb hunters, and kept the small town, and neighboring towns safe. Saddle was baby-sat by one of Steele's students Abelardo.

One day, a Grimm serpent named Abada attacked and decimated a neighboring town. Knowing that Steele and Lili would be unable to fight the serpent themselves, the town representative begged Human Huntsmen and Huntresses for help. The Faunus village was ignored, forcing Steele and Lili to fight.

Steele and Lili managed to wound Abada, but the serpent ate Lili, and poisoned Steele. The Faunus came home, venom coursing through his veins, and saw his boy, Saddle, one final time. Steele sang to the boy, and died with Saddle in his arms.

Saddle, heartbroken at the loss of his parents, took his father's sword, Reinier, and attempted to take vengeance on the weakened Abada. The serpent, however, beat Saddle very badly before the young boy managed to hurt it with Reinier. Abada fled, and has not been seen since.

After the ordeal, with his parents dead and gone, Saddle trained using scrolls and notes that his mother and father had written on Aura control, and swordsmanship. Now knowing an amalgamation of their fighting styles, Saddle has stricken out to join Beacon Academy, accepted into the school due to his swordsmanship and fighting skill.

Physical Appearance: Saddle looks remarkably similar to his father. Although he is only a half faunus, he sports a pair of two pronged antlers, the right one having a chip from where Abada struck it. He has dark hair, and his mother's deep brown eyes. His facial features are relatively smooth and rounded, having a button nose. He has a scar on his chin, and stands at 5'11". His hair is black and unkempt, cut short and hidden under a hat.

Clothing/Armor: Saddle wears mostly dark clothing. Black pants, black tee shirt, a brown, short sleeved, button up overshirt, and a dark brown jeep cap. He wears glasses, and his black shirt is mostly bullet and fireproof, protecting his vital organs. The shirt has his symbol, a Gemini symbol with a pair of antlers, is over his heart.

He wears a scabbard on his back with his sword, Reinier. The front strap of the scabbard has a small pairing knife holstered to it.

Semblance: Saddle's semblance is impact, generated by his hands. He can fire off a close range "buckshot" blast of Aura, knocking back his opponents, or he can summon small shield to totally reflect attacks. His normal shield is only the size of a dinnerplate. Generating a larger, more lasting shield exhausts him very quickly, and if he tries to keep one up for long, the exertion could outright kill him.

He has not yet unlocked this ability, but someday he will be able to channel aura through his antlers, and his impact semblance will take the form of longer, more jagged, transparent, hardened Aura, with which he can ram opponents.

Color Represented: Dark Brown.

Fairy Tail Represented: Bambi.

Emblem: A gemini symbol, with antlers growing out of the top.

Miscellaneous Info: He hates snakes, sleeps only three or four hours per day due to an increased amount of Taurine in his blood, and doesn't eat most forms of meat, sticking mostly to vegetables, fish, and chicken. He can be compelled to eat meat, but he will NEVER eat venison.

He has an acute, crippling fear of crowds and loud, urban areas. His preference is wide rural areas.
