Description: Permafrost is, in actuality, a great sword handle, and nothing more. It is a cast iron bar wrapped in treated black stingray skin, making an excellent grip, like one of an old Katana. The reason it is an effective weapon is because in Shiro's hands, it can be transformed into a greatsword made of ice that can be reformed at will if broken, as sharp as he desires, and as strong as well, though the design is limited to a certain length and height. In his inumerable years, Shiro met with a wise wizard by the name of Yen Sid, and as a lesson for his apprentice at the time, had the apprentice attune the rod to Shiro's magical abilities, allowing him to call forth the blade at will. When formed, the blade has six icicles form at the end of the rod, attached together with a snowflake design at the center. This serves as the blade's guard The blade becomes single edged, with a curve in near the bottom of the blade, and hooking out a few cm later. the blade itself if long and thick, being nearly a half a foot wide, and three and a half feet long, jetting back into a sharp, edged tip at the end. At the bottom of the rod, a crystal of ice forms.

Abilities: Being of magical quality, the weapon is virtually weightless. It's freezing cold keeps wounds open longer, and it is as sharp or dull, as strong or brittle as it is willed, however, summoning up the blade and using it draws on the user's magical energies, and thus fatigues them faster in a fight.
