Personality: Rather contrary to his appearance, Leon is a very friendly guy, if a little harsh at times. He can sometimes be brash, and due to his upbringing, he was left at the mercy of his emotions and impulses. Despite this, he actively makes it his duty to help others. He has a rather fiery temper, and hates being treated specially because of his arm or being treated differently because of the way he looks. He has been known to get in fights over just demanding equal treatment. His loyalty is unmatched, and is probably his most prominent and best feature.

Bio: Leon doesn't know of his own background before living amongst a group of mercenaries. His first memory was having his robotic arm grafted on by some weapons-worker who was almost positively half-insane. The "Family" Leon grew up with were people who would call themselves mercenaries, but were really nothing more than common thugs. They made their living by going into random villages, and playing on peoples fear by claiming that they had seen the Grim nearby, and would cement their story with a replica of a Deathstalker body. Claiming they knew how to kill them, the clan would shake down villagers, take the women captive, and steal anything they could over the next few months, before slaying a few families in a final "farewell" and leaving.

Leon gathered that he was never supposed to be part of this "Clan" by the way he was treated. The half insane weapon smith that traveled with the group had taken in Leon as a sort of experiment, and always wanted to tinker with his arm, in exchange for providing him a share of the food he had. The rest of the group treated him as a slave warrior, using him to carry out the dirty jobs, like disciplining the faunus slaves that they would capture in the villages. It wasn't something Leon enjoyed, but they were the family he was forced with, and loyalty forced him to obey them, as well as the fact that if he didn't do as they said, he'd be slaughtered.

This sort of bandit group cannot stay formed forever, and they eventually were caught by authorities, most of the clan killed in battle from the confrontation. Leon was able to slip away and take refuge in the nearby village the gang had been on their way too, sporting the cuts across his eye that he would carry forever. He was taken in by an older woman, who agreed to take him in as long as he became a student of hers. The woman was a teacher retired from Signal academy, and claimed that she only retired because she hated handling students in classes, and preferred taking students on one-on-one. She taught him Fencing, which he learned to adapt into his own style that complimented his arm in combat.

Being a student of a retired Signal teacher, the woman pushed him to apply to get into Beacon Academy. After a about a year of her pushing, he finally made the application, and with her recommendation, he was accepted into Beacon.

Physical Appearance: What are your character's physical characteristics? (Eye color, hair color, skin complexion, scars, etc. 75 Word min.) Leon has rather messy black hair, bangs that hang down ever so slightly over his eyes, about shoulder length in the back, and usually quite disheveled. His eyes are larger for a male, giving him a sort of open, slightly feminine look.  He has a multitude of scars, including a vertical and diagonal cut scars across his left eye, and a horizontal scar across his face, as well as several on his back and one on the left of his torso surrounding his weapon. Biologically, Leon does not have a left arm, but he has replaced it by his weaponized arm Besides all of these notable features, he stands at six feet even, has pale complexion skin, with an average build and muscle. He has a rather sharp face, a relatively pointed chin, but a slightly rounded nose.

Clothing/Armor: Counting in armor would be Leon's weapon, a robotic arm crafted out of steel and grafted onto his arm. The arm is rather strong, but has been known to break before. As for clothing Leon typically wears a very colorless outfit, almost all grey. He wears a blackeye patch over his left eye, an ash grey v-neck shirt with the sleeves ripped off, a light gray great-coat with only the right sleeve, the left being ripped off, Black pants and boots, and a light blue long-scarf.

Semblance: Leon has yet to discover his aura, but displays a natural proficiency in combat and reflexes. As for any stand-out power, he has none as of yet.
